It's no use now to pretend to be two people! Why, there's hardly enough of me left to make one respectable person!
This blog post is dedicated to my wonderful mother and all of the thoughtful nuggets of wisdom that she patiently shares with me along my journey to successful adulthood-ness. It's no use to pretend to be two people. This is what my mother is constantly telling me. College is a frustrating journey of finding yourself, and this process is sometimes challenging in a world where everywhere you turn a peer or professor is trying to mold your morals and ideals. In frustration I vented to my mother about how it seems that whenever I talk to a "friend" about my life, they feel the need add a brace on my life with their own opinion. Well, it is now sophomore year and there's hardly enough left of me to be one person. So, today I throw any and all opinions about how I should be living my life to the wind, and I am just going to live. Watch out Provo, here I come a free thinking and independent mind.
