A Bum List Tuesday

Alright, I know I should absolutely not make a list about reasons I walked in the door today a little down and ready for two advil and some sleep. BUT I'm going to. Please rest assured that I know my life is very blessed and things are going great. Haven't been so awesome in a long time actually. HOWEVER. Sometimes a girl has just got to vent and for no good reason (and a small dose of PMS) it's just a no good day... a bum Tuesday.

1. Let's talk about the migraine I developed mid-afternoon (around 1 pm). It has slowly been spreading through my shoulders and down my back. This little bugger is most likely a result of item #2.

2. I have not gotten any good sleep for the last week and a half. It's all been that half-baked stuff and we're not talkin' Ben-N-Jerry's. We're talking you're asleep but you know you're asleep and you have really freaky dreams that stress you out in your sleep. It's been AWESOME.

3. My PL SC 357 lecture was the most boring lecture given on BYU campus today, hands down. She just read the lecture slides?! Why do they have you come to class and then read you their lecture slides?!

4. I slept worse last night then I have in months. Woke up late. Rushed out the door without breakfast. And the only thing I had time to eat was a Cliff Bar. They're good, but they're not that good. Starvation. . . probably also contributed to the Migraine, but I was meeting with students or in class or reading for a class... bla, bla, bla.

5. The "Coolant is Low" light came on when I turned on my car... is that bad? I don't even know. Stupid coolant, stupid car.

6. I missed TWO questions on my Capitals of the Middle East quiz today because Bowen added two countries to our list of countries to know and she DIDN'T tell us. Otherwise I woulda had a 100. It's only two points, but I'm still bugged.

7. My tummy hurts when I eat and when I don't eat. Explain that one to me, folks.

8. I have to do my laundry... I have to wash it, dry it, fold it, and put it away... Oh and in order to do that I have to spend 6-8 dollars and haul it all to the laundry machines in the club house basement in the freezing cold. Where's the justice in that?

9. PMS--it's a problem. I deal with it, and I'm sorry for the people who have to deal with me when I'm dealing with it.

For these 9 reasons, I am now going to go crawl in my bed and HEAVEN help the individual that knocks on my door for any reason. I don't care if your hair is on fire... let me be.

= )

But things could be worse, I mean way worse... right?

Right.

  1. "It's all been half-baked and I'm not talkin' Ben & Jerry's." Nicely done, and added to my running list of extremely usable quotes. :)

  2. You go right ahead and VENT girl! We all have to, and we all understand, and it's just how it IS sometimes! And if you can't vent on your own blog, then where!?! Don't ever apologize. Besides, you always have great pics to go along with everything :D

So pour some coolant in your car, get some Tylenol PM or melatonin or Ambien to help you sleep, insist your professor give everyone those 2 points since she failed to inform you of the change, go shopping for new clothes so you don't have to do your wash until spring (hehehe), and try some Tagamet to see if that might help your tummy.

And for heaven's sake, EAT SOME CHOCOLATE!!!
