It was an absolutely fantastic three day week-end. I did basically nothing productive--which was a little odd. I mean. .. I made sure I worked out (hard), went on a date (fun), watched way more movies than I am willing to admit to in a public forum such as this (5 or 6), and slept a ton (till 11 or 12 every day). Seriously fantastic. For the first time in a while, I feel legitimately relaxed.
I have this week-end ritual of cleaning the house in preparation for my week. There is something about a squeaky clean pad (yes, I just used that word--deal with it) that helps me get off on the right foot.
As I sit here sipping ginger tea (fresh pressed the ginger btwubs--it's the only way to go. Add a few tablespoons of clover honey and you're golden) admiring my handiwork I can't help but feel excited for the week.
There's something in the air, something tingly and free. And because tomorrow is list Tuesday, a busy research day, and the day before my birthday (21!), I'm going to share my list with you now. 21 things about me--some of which you may or may not know.
