Goal

I've recently been receiving a lot of personal revelation on how I can improve myself. In the last couple of semesters, I have learned a lot about who I want to be... the journey has been long and for much of it I wandered completely lost. But not any more, I know or at least am coming to know exactly who Heavenly Father needs me to be.

Reading today, I came across a quote by Ezra Taft Benson. It expresses perfectly my spiritual goals for the next forever.

The great strength of a good woman--a Saint, if you will-- is her personal testimony of the Savior and her faith in his spokesmen, the prophet and the Apostles of Jesus Christ. If she follows them, she will have the countenance of Christ for her beauty, the peace of Christ to support her emotionally, the Savior's example as a means to solve her problems and to strengthen her, and the love of Christ as the source of love for herself, her
family, and those about her. She can be sure of herself...

Isn't that amazing? It expresses so succinctly the desire that has been growing in my heart over the last few weeks to become a "good woman."

Happy Monday-- have a fantastic week!
