It's not a Tuesday but . . .

Short people have long faces, and long people have short faces. Big people have little humor, and little people have no humor at all.

I've been thinkin' this past week about all the wonderful faces in my life..

Krista--I love this girl and respect her good heart so much. She's an amazing peace maker, genuine friend, and simply beautiful on the inside and out.

Miss Kendra. Where to begin--if I had even half the confidence this girl has ... well this world just isn't big enough for her creative mind. She's got an amazing testimony of the gospel. Every fast Sunday of high school Kendra would lead the family out in sacrament meeting.

This kid--disgustingly athletic, handsome, loyal, and hilarious. When my date would come to pick me up in high school, no matter who it was Carson would be at the door before we left. And he'd say, " I want her home by midnight." And give them a look. My dates would always laugh, they thought he was joking--he wasn't. He is incredibly protective of his family, especially us girls. And always an example to his friends in living the gospel.

This boy--the eleven years between us doesn't even phase us. We've been best friends from day one. I'll never forget excitedly crawling into the mini-van to see his tiny little face home from the hospital. What a sweet baby. He's one of the most righteous men I've ever met, and he's nine.

He understands the importance of the gospel better than most adults I know. And just look at that face. He's a character on top of it all.

I would be remiss if I didn't mention my parents here too. I wish I could put a picture of their faces up, but I don't have any on the computer. I love my parents. The older I get the more I realize how smart they actually are--strange, eh?

And of course, I could never forget these three...

A wonderful thing about life is that your family grows. The Walker boys are three members of my family I found along the journey of life. They are amazing. Strong testimonies and great attitudes about life. Connected at the hip and handsome.

I could go on and on adding more and more faces, they're so many people in my life I love and appreciate--this blog post would never end.

But I've got to get ready for church. I hope you each have a blessed Sunday.

Remember our Heavenly Father lives and loves each of us.

Scripture for this past week was Mosiah 7:19

Therefore, lift up your heads, and rejoice, and put your trust in God, in that God who was the God of Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob; and also, that God who brought the children of Israel out of the land of Egypt, and caused that they should walk through the Red Sea on dry ground, and fed them with manna that they might not perish in the wilderness; and many more things did he do for them.

This week it's Mosiah 5:15

Therefore, I would that ye should be steadfast and immovable, always abounding in good works, that Christ, the Lord God Omnipotent, may seal you his, that you may be brought to heaven, that ye may have everlasting salvation and eternal life, through the wisdom, and power, and justice, and mercy of him who created all things, in heaven and in earth, who is God above all. Amen.

  1. What a sweet, sweet post! And what awesome faces in your life! You are blessed indeed! Just like they are all blessed to have your beautiful face in their lives :)

To see the pic of Donald O'Connor made my whole being smile :) His song "Make 'Em Laugh" from Singing in the Rain has got to be one of the greatest comedy/musical scenes of all time! A *huge* influence on those boys of mine :)

And speaking of my crazy boys, thank you for adding them to your family as you've cruised through this life :) They are indeed, amazing boys, even though much of the time they're more like the 3 Stooges - LOL :D And surely you know they love you as well :)
