I have never made but one prayer to God, a very short one: 'O Lord, make my enemies ridiculous.' And God granted it.

Today, I saw her for the first time in almost two years (She just got back from a mission). I know you've each got one... or at least most of you do, don't you? That one kid from high school that hated your guts--the emotional bully that could never just let you live your life. Mine has hated me from my freshman year of high school all the way through the last time I saw her my sophomore year of college. And to this day I have no idea why. We were friends one week and I was her bitter enemy the next.
It was funny cause while it has been years since we've spoken, and I'm no longer truly terrified of her my stomach sank at the sight of her and my palms broke into a nervous sweat. Just like they did all those years ago, when I was awkward little 14 year old me. Isn't it funny how those feelings can stay with you for so long?
Today I walked past her... She was setting up an umbrella in front of the Jamba juice over by the RB.

But it's okay now. Even with those nervous feelings I can know that for whatever reason she decided we couldn't get along in high school-- it was ridiculous. And if I ever run into her on campus... she just needs to know, she's met her match.
I'll be ready with an Oscar Wilde approach:
Always forgive your enemies - nothing annoys them so much.
Oh how I love this! You go girl! :) You own that WOMEN!
