This blog has no particular purpose. I just haven't written in a while, and I felt the need to put pen to paper...or rather finger to key board, as it were.

Read the directions and directly you will be directed in the right direction. This is so true, but only insofar as you read the right directions. There are a lot of directions that are willing to direct you. The older I get, the more I am coming to this realization. Not all the directions are bad, and some may even be more interesting than others.

Of course, here in lies the problem--which direction should you be directed by to direct you in the right direction? It's an individual, confusing, forward-backward kind of thing. You take off directed by one set of directions and when you get half way, you realize that you aren't being directed in the right direction for you. Well then what? Do you back up in the general direction that you came from or take a completely new fork in the road?

Hmmm. Who knows, but it doesn't really matter which directions you read until you finally decide in which direction you want to go, and sometimes it takes a few misleading directions to find out where that is, but that is life I suppose.
