Giving into the "list gang"

Alright gang, I'm gonna do it. I'm going to join in on list Tuesday!

Okay confession. Here I am in my bed: I'm wearing my very favorite sweats (yes, my in-N-out ones, Daniel), my youth conference t-shirt from five years ago, and no socks. What is it with girls and those "cutie" pajamas? Give me the grudge! Oh AND let's not get even get started on my hair--it's going about five billion directions--and the smears of old mascara under my eyes that I was too lazy to wash off after I showered last night. I know, I'm a picture of morning beauty as I sit here typing this post to you.

I'm sure you are all wondering why? Why is Miss Alissa still in bed after nine a.m.?Well, I will tell you. Please pardon the bitter tone my typing might take on starting... now. MY STUPID PHONE TURNED OFF IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT WHICH HAS NEVER HAPPENED BEFORE, AND I DIDN'T WAKE UP UNTIL NINE AM AND MY FIRST CLASS (WHICH IS MY FAVORITE CLASS) STARTS AT 9:30. Ooy, sorry I feel better now. Much to my shock and horror at my given situation exactly 39 minutes ago, I ran--okay stumbled--into the living room with sleep still in my eyes with just enough cognitive thought to realize that, "Freak. It's freezing." Grab my laptop, run back to the warm covers in bed, frantically write a summary and critical review of the really BORING article I read late last night, and email it to my professor before the 9:30 am deadline--which did I mention is the STARTING TIME OF MY FAVORITE CLASS THAT I AM NOW MISSING AS I WRITE THIS BECAUSE MY PHONE TURNED OFF IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT. WHAT'S WITH THAT PEOPLE? Oh, sorry. I'm still a little upset.

So, I am making the best of things and doing a quick blog post before hopping in the shower and beautifying myself for my debut to conquer the world.

I'm just going to type out my list--my handwriting looks very much like my fourteen year old brother's. Okay, not that bad but close.

Cloud 9:

1. sonic with my sisters.
2. that time i called home and my little brother Sterling answered the phone. upon finding out i was on the other end of the line, he proceeded to tell me i am the most beautiful, bestest girl in the whole world. yeah, cloud 9.
3. christmas with family and friends
4. new socks
5. my favorite pair of kicks.
6. getting a good grade after i've done my best.
7. election day--don't judge.
8. vintage
9. my imaginary trips to Europe with a special friend.
10. family trips to the beach
11. laughing with my friends
12. favorite songs: Knockin' on Heaven's Door, Brown Eyed Girl, Club Can't Handle Me, Breathe, and the Waka Waka.
13. Arguing with Daniel--for fun =)
14. Playing big girl dress up with my sisters.
15. Dancing in my mirror before school--shhh. don't tell anyone.
